This holiday season is the perfect time to relax and try some stuff that we don’t have the habit to wear during the rest of the year. The Zoya Winter Holiday MatteVelvet Collection is composed of 6 matte colors : Aspen, Sue, Amal, Iris, Yves and Honor. MatteVelvet nail color by Zoya is not intended to be worn with a base coat, glossy top coat or speed dryer. Due to the unique matte formulation, color is not as long-wearing as traditional nail color. A completely clean, dry surface yields the best results for matte nail color wear.
This one is the perfect white, pure color in a matte finish. My favorite of this collection. It is a sparkling arctic white with a micronized diamond pearl fleck, just beautiful !
Sue is more a soft champagne gold with a multi-hued oyster shell pearl fleck in a matte finish. It is more discreet than Aspen, and very lovely also.
Amal is a classic crimson red with a ruby red pearl fleck. I’m not a lot into red, but this one is nice !
Iris is a deep amethyst with a fuchsia pearl fleck. I love purple in general, but here, I’m not completely sold to this color.
Yves is a deep sapphire that’s midway in between indigo and royal blue with a blue pearl fleck. I love this shade of blue, very deepful !
Honor is a true emerald green with a tone on tone emerald pearl fleck. This green is very beautiful, I like it a lot !
The quality if these colors is very good, very pigmented like everytime with this brand, but it lasts less than the other classic nail polishes. Also, I’m not a big fan of the matte polish…I do not like the finish very much and as my nails have the tendency to be weak, it is not a great combination with my very short nails…
